WHO I AM

I am a retired lawyer and law professor and now an amateur photographer whose main focus has been landscapes. After a recent visit to Bhutan, however, my interest in photographing people and cultures has increased significantly. The photographs in the Gallery represent some of my favorite and, in my view, among the best of the photographs I have taken in the last several years in Maine (where I live year-round), Iceland, Chilean Patagonia, and Bhutan. I plan to add to this collection over time as my destinations and interests change.

My photographs have been included in the Maine Photography Show (2017, 2019, and 2022) and have been awarded “honorable mention” in the international Annual Photography Awards for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
